The authority of Jessore Science and Technology University (JSTU) expelled four BCL men including the university unit president Subrata Biswas and General Secretary Shamim Hasan in connection with the killing of Naimul Islam Riyad, , fourth -year student of the department of environment science and also son of businessman Kazi Monirul Islam and Nurun Nahar Jharna of Segunbagicha, Dhaka.
Confirming the information, Dr Prof Abdus Sattar told The New Nation
that Subrata Biswas and Shamim Hasan were expelled for lifetime from the university while Tanvirul Islam Joy, first -year student of Environment Science for two years and Azizul Islam of Physical Education for one year.
