Two young men were killed as a bus crashed into their motorcycle in Kanaitola area of Monirampur upazila in Jessore district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Plabon Mallick, 28, son of Nitish Mallick of Panchbaria village, and Badprashad Mondal, 28, son of Diraj Mondal of Hajrail village in the upazila.
Ilias Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said the Monirampur-bound bus rammed the motorbike in the area around 4:30pm, leaving the two youths dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
