Zayed Khan’s Film Artistes’ Association’s membership suspended

Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association announced the suspension of actor Zayed Khan’s membership on Sunday. However, the cancellation decision will be taken after talking to the advisors and lawyers of the artistes association soon.
The Association initially suspended Zayed Khan’s membership for making derogatory remarks in the name of the opposition, President and General Secretary of the Association.
Symon Sadik, Joint General Secretary of Film Artistes’ Association, said on Sunday at BFDC, “Most of the executive members of the Film Artistes’ Association have expressed their opinion regarding the suspension of his membership. In the future, a decision may be taken to cancel his membership after talking to the advisors and lawyers of the Film Artistes’ Association.”
Earlier, the memberships of famous actress Sucharita and actor Rubel were temporarily suspended by the Film Artistes’ Association.
Many feared that Zayed Khan would lose his membership after losing the post of General Secretary of the Film Artistes’ Association in a legal battle. Finally, a year after Ilias Kanchan and Nipun took charge.
It is noted that earlier, Zayed Khan served as the General Secretary of the Association for two terms.
