Once again, actor Zayed Khan and actress Nipun are in discussion. In the annual meeting called at the picnic of the Film Artistes’ Association held
on March 2, Nipun informed through
a formal announcement, Zayed
Khan’s membehsip has been cancelled.
In response to this news, Zayed Khan said that he has no problem with the illegal decision of an illegal person.
In April last year, the then deputy general secretary of Film Artistes’ Association, actor Symon Sadik said
that actor Zayed Khan’s membership has been decided to be cancelled. Other members of the Association have not said anything clearly about this.
At that time, Symon said that the name of the General Secretary of the Association was spreading false and
bad news and spreading various kinds of offensive theories on social media, Zayed’s membership has
been decided to be cancelled.
On March 2, at the stage of the picnic of Film Artistes’ Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) was called. In the presence of everyone there, General Secretary Nipun Akter took the microphone and said, “Zayed Khan’s voting rights and membership were canceled from the Association’s register. Because in the name of Association along with its General Secretary’s name, Zayed Khan has been published false, concocted, ugly fiction in press conference, YouTube, Facebook and social media. For that crime, his membership was canceled unanimously at the meeting of the Association held on April 2 in 2023.”
Zayed Khan reacted to such news and said, “I was the three-time elected general secretary of Film Artistes Association. But I didn’t get the picnic invitation.
On the contrary, I heard that my membership has been cancelled. I have no headache with the illegal decision of this illegal person. I have done and will do according to the organisational rules.”
When asked whether he will take any measures to get his membership back, Zayed Khan said, “I have not received any letter regarding this yet. If the letter comes to me, then I will take legal action in this matter. I don’t want to do
anything outside the law. Besides,
I am busy with movies now. My acted movie ‘Sonar Chor’ is releasing on
Eid. So, I want to focus on work.”
