Two of the three coronavirus patients get recovery: IEDCR

Staff Reporter:Two of the three reported coronavirus patients in Bangladesh get recovery IEDCR said on Wednesday.
“The two patients tested negative in the second test conducted on them on Tuesday. Health condition of the duo is better and they will be released soon from the hospital as per WHO protocol as the second set of test found no coronavirus presence in their bodies any more,” Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Director, Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said it in a briefing at her Mohakhali office.
The third patient of the first infected however, tested positive in the second test. But the health condition of the third patient is currently in stable, Dr. Sabrina said.
Apart from three, the IEDCR tested a total of 10 new samples in last 24 hours and all of them were negative, said, the IEDCR Director.
Bangladesh on March 8 confirmed its first three cases of coronavirus infections in the country. Two of them returned from Italy recently, the third person was infected in to their touch.

Dr. Sabrina said, “Callers often find existing numbers busy. Now calls will be automatically forwarded to the numbers which are not busy.”
