On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, the song of February 21 i.e. language song titled ‘Shotokonthe Bhashar Gaan’ has been released on RTV Music YouTube channel.

Basically, the music video of this language song has been made with three songs.

The three songs are rendered by Linu Billah, Timir Nandi, Sajib Das, Homayra Bashir, Sabbir Zaman, Champa Banik, Sharmin Keya, Shila Debi and many other artistes.

Shibli Zia produced this music video with hundreds of artistes. And the three songs that this music video is made of are – ‘Amar Bhai er Rokte Rangano Ekushey February,’ ‘Salam Salam Hajar Salam’ and ‘Ami Banglai Gaan Gai’.

While talking about rendering this song, one of the singers, Sabbir Zaman told this correspondent, “There is great love in being involved in such a work because this song is a song about language martyrs.

I give thanks to RTV for taking such a wonderful initiative.”

Another singer of this song, Sharmin Keya shared her feelings by this way, “Today we can speak Bengali
language because of language martyrs.

There is no such sweet language anywhere else in this world. There is no country that died for language.

So, pay tribute to the martyrs on Language Day by sacrificing those who gave their lives for the language.
