Lions Club of Sylhet Surma distributed food items and gifts among the disabled persons on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan at Gobari in Pathantulasth of the city on Monday. Lion Khairunnessa Shelli presided over the programme.
Lion Babli Chowdhury, Lion Saheda Parveen Chowdhury Najma, Rahmania Pratibandhi Kalyan Foundation Founder President Alhaj Ataur Rahman Khan Samchu also spoke programme .
On the occasion, Club President Lion Khairunnecha Shelley distributed food items and gifts to the disabled and madrasa students.
Speakers in the event said that the Lions Club of Sylhet Surma is playing a role in all fields including improving the quality of life of the disabled people, education, treatment and cooperation. In continuation of this, food items and gifts are being distributed among disabled people and Madrasa students on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Speakers called upon other organizations like Lions Club of Sylhet Surma to conduct service activities.
