Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has been accused of using technology to distort
her images and videos, as well as violate her personal privacy.
The actress has approached the court over this. Recently, her distorted pictures were circulated on social media and various digital platforms. In view of which she took this legal action.
Based on the actress’ complaint, the Bombay High Court has ordered the
immediate removal of such objectionable content from the relevant platforms.
Shilpa’s complaint states that numerous images, videos and digital books have been created by imitating her face, voice and gestures without her permission with the help of artificial intelligence or other technologies.
