The Dinajpur branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC commenced banking operations at its new address (Captain Tower and Shopping Complex, Holding No- 1110/0, Gonesh Tola, Kotoali, Dinajpur) on Sunday.
The branch has been relocated to a spacious place to ensure better services to the customer, says a media statement.
Managing Director of the bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the relocated branch as chief guest. Additional Managing Director and COO of the bank M Akhter Hossain was present at the programme as a special guest and delivered a speech. Manager of the Dinajpur branch of the bank Chowdhury Md Shahidullah presided over the opening ceremony.
Among others, the proprietor of M/S Shah Enterprise Shah Md Mominul Islam, director of Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Syed Sagir Ahmed and the proprietor of Monsafe Auto Rice Mill Sajjad Hossain delivered speeches as special invited guests on the occasion.
There were a number of customers and well-wishers also present at the ceremony.
The ceremony included recitation from the Holy Qu’ran. A du’a mahfil was also held at the branch premises.
In-charge (CC) of the Public Relations Department of the bank KM Harunur Rashid moderated the programme.
