Eastern University and the Bangladesh Garment Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the GAPEXPO fair.
This strategic partnership will focus on collaboration in areas such as research, training, internships and skill development within the garment and packaging industries.
The MOU was signed by Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of Eastern University and Al Shahriar Ahmed, President of BGAPMEA, in the presence of the chief guest, Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Managing Director of Akij-Bashir Group and adviser to the 2024 interim government of Bangladesh, who graced the event with his esteemed presence. Special guest was Md. Maniruzzaman Molla, Chairman, Board of Trusties, Eastern University.
