A reception ceremony was held on Wednesday for the meritorious students of the newly established Paikpara MA Ahad Modern College in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar, which achieved the highest average pass rate in this year’s HSC examinations. The programme took place at the college auditorium.
Kulaura Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mohiuddin attended the event as the chief guest. In his speech, he said, “Life is one.
To build it, we must use every opportunity, because each opportunity comes only once. The HSC stage is a very important phase of your educational journey.”
He advised students to attend classes regularly, stay attentive, build positive relationships with teachers and classmates, and continually learn new skills. He also urged them to reduce excessive mobile phone use.
stressing that discipline and focus are essential for success. Congratulating the successful candidates, the UNO added that education alone is not enough-students must also develop practical skills aligned with workplace demands.
Referring to the achievements of many prominent personalities from Kulaura serving in fields including administration, he expressed hope that today’s students would also reach similar heights through dedication and hard work.
The programme was chaired by Shamsul Haque, Founder President of the college, and moderated by lecturer Alauddin Kabir.
Special guests included Hajipur Union Parishad Acting Chairman Nur Ahmed Chowdhury Bulbul, College Principal Md Hanif, Founding Principal Chinmoy Dey, Kanihati High School Headmaster Fazal Uddin Ahmed, Executive Committee Member Chaiful Alam Saiful, Engineer Mizanur Rahman, Guardian Member Helal Ahmed, and Hajipur Girls’ High School assistant teacher Md Nasir Uddin, among others.
