Music Star: Oyshee opens up about escaping from being blocked at concert

Entertainment Report :

A small and cottage industry and trade fair was going on in Shimultali, Gazipur on Saturday night. A concert was organised there.
Popular singer Fatima Tuz Zahra Oyshee performed at this concert. The entire venue was packed with thousands of spectators.
However, during the concert or shortly after it ended, some miscreants suddenly vandalised the fair, spreading tension throughout the area.
After the incident, news spread through various media outlets that Oyshee and her team members, who were on stage during the clash, were trapped.
At one point, they climbed over a wall to escape the concert venue. During this time, the agitated crowd also vandalised her personal car.
However, Oyshee has claimed that this news is a complete rumour.
She clarified, “The concert ended beautifully and naturally. Her group left the venue safely. The vandalism and fighting at the fair took place shortly after they left.”
Oyshee’s mother Nasima Mannan also claimed that some news reports are giving wrong information.
She said, “Many news reports are saying that Oyshee was blocked. But nothing like that happened at all. The fight started after Oyshee left the concert.”
After the incident, Oyshee also issued a statement on her official Facebook page.
In the statement, the singer wrote, “The untoward incident that occurred at the Shimultali Small and Cottage Industries Fair in Gazipur after I left my concert yesterday. Neither I nor my team had any involvement in it. The incident occurred after we had safely left the venue.”
She also wrote, “Some incorrect and untrue information is being spread about me on various platforms. They are completely baseless.”
Meanwhile, sources close to the fair organisers said that the situation at the fair became heated around 10:30pm due to an argument over the price of cigarettes. Vandalism began shortly after.
