Nrittyalok’s 30-year journey begins

The 30-year journey of ‘Nrittyalok’, the
country’s traditional dance learning
institution, began on February 2 with
a colourful ceremony held at
the Eskaton Garden in the capital.
Kabirul Islam Ratan has been serving as the Director of Nrittyalok Sanksritik Kendra. Golam Ahmed Tito is its President and under the overall supervised by popular model, dancer and TV actress Sadia Islam Mou, and choreographer and dancer Tanna Khan.
On February 2 and 3, this cultural centre has started the new batch of classes.
Not only dancing but also singing song is trained here. Kabirul Islam Ratan, Shaon Shan and Shampa Amin are the dance instructors. Suman Kumar, Razia Sultana Nipa and Jinia Sultana are trained in singing songs in this centre. Also at different times star dancers and singers come to train here.
Kabirul Islam Ratan is a National Film Award winning choreographer and dance director. He has directed numerous comedy and dance dramas in the country and abroad.
Noted dance artiste Shibli Mohammad was present as the chief guest in the special event organised on the occasion of 30 years of Nrittyalok.
Actress Arjumand Ara Bokul, dancer and TV actress Nadia Ahmed, Tahmina Parvin, Ivan Shahriar Sohag and many more were also present to wish good luck in the event.
