Mirza Nishat is a popular musician of this generation. For the past few years, she is becoming very focused on releasing her own original songs. That is why she is releasing original songs one after another.
In the meantime, two of Nishat’s original songs including ‘Mon Je Kemon Kore’ have been released a few days ago.
The first song was written and composed by Plabon Koreshi, while the next song was written and composed by Akram Khan.
However, Nishat said that two more original songs of her will be released soon, which she is very much looking forward to.
These two songs are written and composed by singer, music composer and director Apu Aman.
One is a regional language song of Gazipur titled ‘Naam Aamar Golapi’ and the other is a folk song titled ‘Bideshe Jaiyona Bondhu’.
Nishat has great expectations about these two songs. Also, Nishat’s voice is going to be revealed in Akram Khan’s tune, a duet song with him written by Adnan Sanny Mansur.
A solo song titled ‘Dukkho Pabo Bole Ami Tare Bhalobasi’ by Nishat with lyrics and tunes by Plabon Koreshi, another duet song with Khaypa Pritam with lyrics and tunes by Sheikh Jamal are also going to be released soon.
Mirza Nishat told this correspondent, “Apu Aman’s lyrics and tune I always give the most importance to me because as a talented singer.
As well as a lyricist, composer and music director, he is my favourite. He works on my songs with great care. Because of which I like to work with him very much. I am very optimistic about the two new songs he is doing about me.
I believe two songs that the listeners will like the audience. Also Plabon Koreshi Bhai, Akram Bhai, and Kamal Bhai are doing good songs.
Honestly I believe in releasing original songs. No one can say in advance which song will be liked by whom. I am releasing original songs to create a separate position of my own.”
Nishat also said that at this time of the year, she is busy with stage shows.
The singer is doing regular stage shows outside Dhaka and Dhaka. She is also participating in various TV programmes.
