GOMOSTAPUR, CHAPAINABABGANJ: National Sanitation Month and World Hand Washing Day were celebrated in Gomstapur of Chapainawabganj with the theme “Clean hands within your reach”. Organized by the Upazila Administration and Directorate of Public Health Engineering, a procession was taken out from the upazila square on Sunday marking the Day. The procession circumambulates the important roads of Rahanpur Municipal area and ends at the same place.

GONGACHORA, RANGPUR: Distribution of free seeds and fertilizers to small and marginal farmers under the agricultural incentive program aimed at increasing the cultivation and production of wheat, maize, mustard, sunflower, groundnut and winter onion crops in the financial year 2023-24 has been inaugurated by the Upazila Agriculture Extension Department in Gangachra, Rangpur. Upazila Executive Officer Nahid Tamanna inaugurated the distribution at the agricultural office premises on Sunday.
