SYLHET: Sylhet’s Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Moshiur Rahman Chowdhury inaugurates a 4-day long training program for the support staff of the Chief Juditial Magistrate Court of Sylhet on Monday. Chief Judicial Magistrate of Sylhet Dr. Abul Hasanat presided over the inaugural ceremony and Judicial Magistrate Abida Sultana Molly conducted the programme. Sylhet Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Moshiur Rahman Chowdhury attends the programme as chief guest.

GAIBANDHA: About 500 marginal farmers of Tarepur union of Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha receive rice seed, chemical fertilizer and pesticides as Agri inputs with the theme of “Bachlee Krishok, Bachbe Desh, Unnayaner Bangladesh”. Upazila Agriculture Officer Rashidul Kabir, manager of Dhaka Bank Rangpur branch, Shahidul Islam and regional manager of Petrocam, Bogura region Anisur Rahman address the function, among others, with Zora-chatal union chairman Aminul Islam in the chair held at Zora-chatal on Monday.

CHAPAINABABGANJ: Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan distributes cheques for Tk 24, 75,000 among 81 registered female volunteer organizations as a part of helping their efforts in creating awareness against child marriage and drugs in the district. The event was held at the conference room of the DC jointly arranged by Chapainawabganj District Administration and district office of Department of Women Affairs on Sunday. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Mahbub-Ul-Islam was in the chair. Deputy Director of the Women Affairs Department district office Sahida Akhtar gave the welcome speech.
