Provati Insurance declared 12pc cash dividend: Provati Insurance Company Limited, declared 12 per cent cash dividend to the shareholders for the year 2019. The decision was taken at 24th Annual General Meeting of the company held recently through digital platform, said a press release. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the company Mohammed Momin Ali. Vice-Chairman Maruf Sattar Ali, other Directors, shareholders along with Chief Executive Officer MA Salam and company Secretary Md. Sirajul Islam and Additional Managing Director Md. Jahedul Islam were also took part in the virtual meeting. The shareholders of the company expressed their deep satisfaction over the performance and steady growth of the company in the face of extremely adverse situation and unhealthy competition.

Southeast Bank declares 10 pc dividends: Southeast Bank Limited approved 7.5 per cent cash and 2.5 per cent stock dividend to the shareholders and the audited financial statements of the bank for the year 2019. The decision was taken in the 25thAnnual General Meeting held on Wednesday through virtually. Alamgir Kabir, Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting while bank’s Vice-Chairperson Duluma Ahmed, Directors- MA Kashem, Azim Uddin Ahmed, Jusna Ara Kashem, Rehana Rahman, Md. Akikur Rahman and Independent Directors Syed Sajedul Karim, Dr. Quazi Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Mohammad Delwar Husain, Managing Director M. Kamal Hossain and bank’s Advisor Zakir Ahmed Khan participated in the meeting. Sponsors and a large number of shareholders of the bank took part in the meeting through digital platform, said a press release. Alamgir Kabir, Chairman of the bank, highly appreciated the shareholders for their continuous co-operation and active support for sustainable growth of the bank. He assured them of implementing gradually the valuable suggestions put forward by them in the virtual meeting to accelerate the operational performance of the bank including its brand image.
