NBL approved 10pc dividend: National Bank Limited approved 5 per cent stock and 5 percent cash dividend for the year ended on the 31st December, 2019. The declaration came out from its 22nd EGM and 37th AGM holds on Sunday through virtually. Zainul Haque Sikder, Chairman of the bank presided over the meeting, said a press release. Parveen Haque Sikder (MP), EC Chairperson, Monowara Sikder, Khalilur Rahman, Moazzam Hossain, Rick Haque Sikder, Mabroor Hossain, Directors, Md. Naimuzzaman Bhuiyan Mukta, Independent Director, ASM Bulbul, Managing Director (CC) and DMDs of the bank were present in the meeting along with around 400 shareholders. The authorized capital of the bank was increased to Tk 5000 crore from Tk 3000 crore. The Chairman expressed his firm determination to allow more dividends in future. He put an end to the AGM thanking all the participants for joining the virtual platform and to step forward in reforming the Digital Bangladesh.
