JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan’s 2nd GMM, members’ day out and an external training was held in the city recently. The event facilitated by Mahira Habib, National Committee Chair – Corporate Partnership. Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Narayanganj Tawheed Elahi. The Executive Board Members and Directors including the President of JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan Rezwan Ul Haque, immediate past local president Saif Uddowlah, secretary general Saif Alam, treasurer Rakin Rahman, Vice President Syeda Amina Ali, Directors Samira Haque and Afifa Abbas and Local Committee Chair Shamimul Ehsan were present on the event.

Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, Chairman, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) board of directors speaking in a CPD seminar recently. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), Chattogram Region arranged the seminar at a hotel in the port-city. Prof, Muhammad Sekandor Khan, the Vice-Chancellor, East-Delta University attended the seminar as Chief guest. ICAB, Chottogram region committee Chairman Md. Abul Kashem and ICAB Chairman Md. Sahadat Hossain delivered welcome speech on the occasion. Ex-Chairman of ICAB Sawkat Hossain, ICAB Vice-President N K A Mobin among others were participated in the event.

First Security Islami Bank Ltd. has been awarded for being one of the highest taxpayers in banking sector for 2021-22 fiscal year at the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU). Md. Masudur Rahman Shah, DMD of the bank received the award from Rawnak Afroz, Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Appeal Zone-2, Dhaka in a ceremony organized in this regard at NBR’s Tax Zone-1 Conference Hall recently. A K M Badiul Alam, DG of Central Intelligence Cell (CIC), Md. Iqbal Hossain, Commissioner of Taxes, Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) and Muhammad Kamruzzaman, Head of Finance and Accounts Division, FSIBL along with senior officials were present in the ceremony.

National Life Insurance Company has been awarded for being one of the highest taxpayers in life insurance sector for 2021-22 fiscal year at the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU). Md. Nazmul Karim, Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-3, Dhaka handed over the award to Md. Kazim Uddin, CEO of National Life Insurance Company in the ceremony held at NBR’s Conference Hall at Segunbaghicha, Dhaka, recently. Md. Iqbal Hossain, Commissioner of Taxes, Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) presided over the event. Abu Hannan Delwar Hossain, Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-7 and Parbir Chandra Das, Chief Finance Officer of NLI, among others, were present in the ceremony.
