EICL holds 37th AGM: The 37th Annual General Meeting of Eastern Insurance Company Limited (EICL) held in the capital recently through virtually. Chairman of the company ASM Waheeduzzaman presided over the meeting while Vice-Chairman Azmal Hossain, Directors Major (Rtd.) Abdul Mannan, Matiur Rahman, SD Alam, Mujibur Rahman, Dr. Mohammed Mohsin, Umme Kulsum Mannan, Rokeya Ferdous, Nahreen Rahman, Tajrina Mannan, Independent Director Mohammad Tofazzel Hossain, FCA, CEO Md. Iqbal Mahmud, CFO Sujoy Kumar Biswas, Company Secretary Shohel Mahamud and substantial member of Shareholders were present. The AGM approved 22% cash dividend for the shareholders.

NPL holds its 6th EGM: The 6th Extraordinary General Meeting of Navana Pharmaceuticals Limited (NPL) was held on Monday through virtually. In the meeting, members were approved issuance of Tk. 150 crore unsecured, coupon bearing bond with 60% conversion feature & change in the use of proceeds of IPO partially. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Chairman of the company presided over the meeting. Among others, Professor Dr. Md. Jonaid Shafiq, Managing Director and other Hon’ble Directors’, Auditors and management personnel of the company were also present. The shareholders expressed their satisfaction for the company’s activities and they, assured to provide full support toward the company for sustainable development.
