One arrested with Yaba
Chittagong Bureau :
Chittagong Metropolitan Police in a raid arrested the person with 990 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from city’s Shah Amanat Bridge area on early Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Shafique Ahmed, 30, son of Siddiqur Rahman, hailed from Gozaria upazila under Munshigonj district.
Bakalia thana police on secret information raided a bus of Green Line Service at Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia thana and arrested Shafique with 990 pieces of Yaba tablets around 3.40am, said Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-Charge of Bakalia police station.
A case was filed in this connection.
