Life term for Ctg rapist

A Chittagong court on Thursday sentenced a rapist to life term imprisonment for violating an 11-year-old girl at Chambol village in Banskhali upazila here in 2010.
Judge of Chittagong Woman and Child Repression Tribunal-1 Mohammad Reazul Karim handed down the verdict convicting Salim Ullah, 23, son of Badiul Alam of the same village, court sources said. Convicted ruffian Salim Ullah, who is also a neighbour of the victim, raped the teen-aged girl in the hilly area of Chambol village alluring her with the promise of giving chocolate on April 24, 2010.
