Bangladesh to play India in semifinal tomorrow

Bangladesh will face Group-B champion India in 2nd the semifinal of the first South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-19 Championship at All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Complex Saldobato in Lalitpur, Kathmandu on Thursday.
The match will start at 3:30pm (Nepal Time).
In the other semifinal Thursday, Group-A champion Nepal will face Group-B runners-up Afghanistan at 12 noon at the same venue.
Bangladesh confirmed their semifinal berth as group-A runners-up crushing all-losers Bhutan by 2-0 goals in their first group match of the six-nation soccer meet while they lost to hosts Nepal by 1-2 goals in the last group match.
India stormed to semifinal as group champion beating Afghanistan by 2-0 goals and defeated all-losers Maldives by 3-0 goals in group matches.
Apart from Bangladesh, however, Nepal defeated Bhutan in their first group match by 3-1 goal to be the group champion.
The final match will be held on August 29 at 3pm. Bangladesh U-19 team: Masuk Miah Jony (captain), Mohammad Salahuddin, Anik Hossain, Mashududdin Ahmed Chowdhury, Mohammad Ibrahim, Sabbir Hossain Sumon, Mohammad Emon, Tutul Hossain Badsha, Mannaf Rabby, Rakib Sarkar, Faisal Ahmed, Mohammad Mithu, Shahriar Bappy, Imran Hossain Rubel, Bishwanath Ghosh, Istekharul Alam Shakil, Biplo Ahmed, Mohammad Rocky, Saiful Alam Khan, Mahfuz Hasan Pritom, Rohit Sarkar and Rahmat Miah.
