Blink launches digital payment platform Mukto Pay

Mobile operator Banglalink has launched Mukto Pay, a digital payment platform aimed at making everyday financial transactions faster, easier and more accessible across the country.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued by Banglalink on Wednesday.
Through the platform, customers can transfer money, pay utility bills and recharge mobile numbers across all operators.

As part of its introductory offer, the company will waive charges on wallet-to-wallet transfers and bill payments for the next three months.

The name ‘Mukto’ means freedom. The platform aims to reduce the time, effort and additional costs associated with everyday financial transactions.

Users can download the app from Google Play Store and iOS App Store and register using their National Identity Card (NID) and mobile number, irrespective of their mobile operator. Banglalink customers can also access the service by dialling *525# from basic mobile phones without an internet connection.
