Dhaka Bank organises cyber security awareness

Dhaka Bank organized a special session on “Cyber Security Awareness for Senior Management” on Tuesday at Dhaka Bank Training Institute [DBTI] premises, marking the observance of Cyber Security Awareness Month 2026.

A M M Moyen Uddin, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of Dhaka Bank PLC, was designated as the Chief Guest, while S. M. Tofayel Ahmad, Additional Director, ICT Division, Bangladesh Bank, was invited as the Special Guest.Senior executives, including Heads of Divisions and representatives from different branches and business units of Dhaka Bank PLC, participated in the awareness initiative.

The session focused on emerging cybersecurity threats and associated risks in the banking sector, cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance, information security, and the importance of adopting safe digital practices.
