Mithun eyes Rajinikanth, Prabhas

Organisers are planning a star-studded opening for this year’s Kolkata International Film Festival.

Alongside inviting popular South Indian stars Rajinikanth and Prabhas, efforts are also underway to bring several Hollywood celebrities to the event.

Organisers are also considering hosting the opening ceremony at Kolkata’s historic Victoria Memorial.

Mithun Chakraborty shared these plans after a meeting on preparations for the festival at Nandan in Kolkata on Tuesday (October 27). The Kolkata International Film Festival will run from December 16 to 23 this year.
