Shahjalal Islami Bank signs deal with Amrark Limited

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Deputy Managing Director Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA, and Amrark Limited Chairman Jisu Park exchange documents after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote green finance and sustainable investments in Bangladesh, at the bank's corporate head office in Dhaka on Tuesday. Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Chairman Mohammed Younus and Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed were present at the ceremony.

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. and Amrark Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tuesday, at the Corporate Head Office of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC.

In the presence of Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA and the Chairman of Amrark Limited Jisu Park signed on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on behalf of the respective organizations.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mohammed Younus was also present while signing the MOU.

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC and Amrark Limited are set to establish a cooperative framework to promote green finance and sustainable investment opportunities across Bangladesh, with a focus on renewable energy, clean energy and green technologies.

Under the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two organizations will facilitate the exchange of contact information, introductions and networking opportunities among interested clients, investors, business entities and potential partners seeking green finance for sustainable projects.

Among others the Secretary General of KBCCI Million Park, the EVP of Special Asset Management Division (SAMD) Md. Mazharul Haque, the Head of Card Division Md. Riad Hossain, the SAVP at the bank’s corporate head office Md. Ibrahim Hossen, the AVP of the Bank’s Card Division Md. Shafiul Islam, the Head of Public Relations Division & CEO of Bank Foundation K. M. Harunur Rashid and the senior officials of the both organizations were present in the agreement signing ceremony.
