Kulaura Press Club convener committee formed

A convener committee for the Kulaura Press Club was formed, bringing together journalists from three separate press clubs.

A 9-member convener committee was formed where senior journalist M. Shakil Rashid Chowdhury appointed as the Convener and senior journalist Md. Mosabbir Ali as the Member Secretary.

The other members of the committee are Moynul Haque Pabon, Muktadir Hussain, M Atiqur Rahman Akhoi, Najmul Bari Suhel, Tajul Islam, Mahfuz Shakil, and Rafiqul Islam Mamun. With the consensus of all those present at the meeting, the existing press club committee was dissolved, and a three-member election management committee was formed.

Earlier, a meeting held at the upazila parishad hall on Saturday presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sanjida Akter.

Alhaj Shawkatul Islam Shoku, MP, attended as the chief guest and provided guidance on the overall process. The president of the Upazila BNP, Joynal Abedin Bacchu.

The meeting was attended by S. M. Zaman Matin, Political Secretary-1 to the Member of Parliament; Badruzzaman Sajal, General Secretary of the BNP; Redwan Khan, Political Secretary-2 to the Member of Parliament; Shamim Ahmad Chowdhury, former General Secretary of the Upazila BNP and Abdul Muktadir Monu, the current Organising Secretary.
