Chittagong City Chhatra Dal brought out a rally in the city protesting the arrest of Chhatra Dal President Rajib Ahsan on Monday.

Chittagong City Chhatra Dal brought out a rally in the city protesting the arrest of central Chhatra Dal President Rajib Ahsan on Monday.
The procession was brought out from Golpahar crossing which ended at Nasimon Bhaban office city BNP office square.
The speakers in the rally said present voterless illegal govt aimed at sustaining in state power, leaders of all categories of JCD have been arrested and involved cases with false and fabricated issues , hundreds of leaders now became disabled by their inhuman torture.
In the last great festival of the Muslim community , the leaders of all levels could not celebrate the Eid fearing arrest panic.
On the other hand, President of the chatradal was also arrested from the way on the way to going home in Patualhali to celebrate holy festival.
The speakers also warned the ruling party to refrain from torture to JCD leaders and workers and the students community will continue their movement till downfall of the autocratic govt.
Former VP of Chittagong Law College and Chhatra Dal City Secretary HM Rashed Khan presided the rally and all leaders of the city unit JCD were present in the rally, sources said.
