I also act in my personal life Orsha
Nazia Haque Orsha has created a distinct presence in both places – sometimes
in her on-screen character, sometimes in her clear statements.
The National Film Award-winning actress, who has made her mark with her diverse acting, now talks about work, family, personal life and her bohemian nature. Pantho Afzal sat down with her on the set of ‘Star Stories’.
Along with acting, Orsha has also been living a family life for almost two years.
Regarding the balance of work and personal life, her comment is that family is such a thing where the situation is not always the same – sometimes good, sometimes bad.
Is she really happy in her personal life, or does she act happy? Orsha also gave an open answer to the question.
According to her, it is not possible to be 100 per cent happy in life all the time. Sometimes acting is also needed to handle relationships and situations.
Regarding this acting in her life, she further said, “I also act in my personal life, I do performances, since I work on screen. In fact, I am happy sometimes, and not at all happy sometimes.”
Actress Aupee Karim holds a special place in Orsha’s list of favourite stars. Her sense of life, simplicity, and acting inspire Orsha.
Analysing Aupee, Orsha said,”I find her sense of life, her simplicity, a lot similar to my own life. It inspires me a lot.” The diversity of Aupee’s acting career also fascinates Orsha.
Highlighting the breadth of her work in various mediums, whether it be stage, novel-based work, or diverse characters, Orsha said, “She is such a good performer. So down to earth.
There is a lot to learn from her. She has done a lot of work, novel-based work.
Again, that ‘Nandini’ from the stage ‘Raktakarabi’. She has done many different types of work and characters.”
The simplicity of Aupee’s personality has made her even more special to Orsha. In this regard, Orsha said, “Even after doing so much, when I see this person at an event or in a place, I feel very close to her.
There is no exaggeration, no forwardness in anything. She seems very outstanding. I think she is a better person than she is a good performer.”
