Pierce Brosnan joins Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Extraction 3’

Pierce Brosnan has joined Chris Hemsworth in the cast of Netflix’s upcoming action film ‘Extraction 3’.

Brosnan is among five new additions to the film, alongside Don Lee, Joe Taslim, Chi Lewis-Parry and Siena Agudong.

The roles of newly announced cast members are
being kept under wraps, as is the film’s plot. ‘Extraction 3’ is currently filming in Australia.

Hemsworth will return as Australian mercenary Tyler Rake, with Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani also set to reprise their roles in the franchise.

The ‘Extraction’ films are based on the graphic novel ‘Ciudad’ by Ande Parks and illustrator Fernando León González.

The franchise follows Tyler Rake as he undertakes high-stakes rescue missions around the world.

Sam Hargrave, who directed the first two films, is returning to direct the third instalment.

David Weil has
written the screenplay based on a story by Parks, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo.
