Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is returning as ‘Rani’ again.
The shooting of the fourth season of India’s popular political web series ‘Moharani’ will begin on August 6.
Like the previous three seasons, this time too she will be seen in the role of Rani Bharti. However, Huma will have to leave the set for some time in the middle of the shooting of ‘Moharani’ because she has the promotion of her much-talked-about film ‘Toxic’ ahead. She played the role of Elizabeth in it, directed by Geetu Mohan Das.
After the promotions of her new film, Huma will return to the sets of ‘Moharani’ to complete the remaining parts. This time, the audience is curious about what kind of political and personal challenges will come in the life of Rani Bharti.
The series may be released in January 2027. Created by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Moharani’ was released on Sony Liv in 2021. Set against the backdrop of the political realities of Bihar, the series sees an ordinary housewife, Rani Bharti, suddenly thrust into the political spotlight.
When her husband, who is the Chief Minister of the state, is forced to resign, Rani Bharti is given the charge of the Chief Minister as a symbolic decision.
Through power struggles, political intrigues, betrayals, administrative crises and personal struggles, Rani Bharti proves her leadership skills.
Huma’s performance as Rani Bharti has garnered widespread praise over the past three seasons. Her stellar performance has not only made the series a hit with the audience, but has also earned her several accolades and awards.
Huma Qureshi’s performance in the recently released film ‘Baby Doo Die Doo’ has been praised. In it, she plays the role of a hearing and speech-impaired killer.
For the role, the 40 -year -old actress learned language , spent time in a school for special needs children and researched the body language and expressions of people who cannot hear.
