BGB’s 43 Battalion’s founding anniv celebrated in Ramgarh

24th founding anniversary of BGB’s Ramgarh 43 Battalion was celebrated through various programmes. On Sunday, various day-long programs were held at the battalion headquarters to mark the anniversary.
The anniversary program began with Milad and Doa Mahfil at the battalion headquarters mosque in the morning. The national and regimental flags were officially hoisted in the morning. A special darbar was held at 9 am.

In the afternoon, a giant cake was officially cut at the zone headquarters hall. Later, a special reception was held.

The programme was presided over by 43 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ahsan ul Islam. Brigadier General Sohel Ahmed, Region Commander of BGB’s Chattogram Southeast Region, was present as the chief guest.

BGB Guimara Sector Commander Colonel Mohammad Mizanur Rahman was the special guest, Sindukchhari Zone Commander Lt. Colonel Gazi Nihad Faisal of the army, Matiranga Zone Commander Lt. Colonel Md. Masud Khan, Zaminipara Zone Commander Lt. Colonel Khaled Ibne Hossain, Palashpur Zone Commander Lt. Colonel Muha. Shahinul Islam, Ramgarh Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Shamim. Deputy Commander of 43 BGB Major Moinul Alam delivered the welcome speech. Military-civilian officers and journalists of various levels were present at the event.
