Union Capital holds 28th AGM

The 28 th Annual General Meeting of Union Capital Limited was held on Wednesday in the city through hybrid (live presence and virtual) mode.

The Chairman & Independent Director of Union Capital Limited, Dr. Qazi Moinuddin Mahmud, AFHEA presided over the meeting.

The Independent Directors Mohammad Anwarul Hoque, FCA, Mohammad Eklas Uddin, FCA, Parimal Chandra Chakraborty and Barrister Mohammad Mashiur Rahman were participated in the event.

Among other the Administrator appointed by Bangladesh Bank Md. Ferdaush Hossain in the capacity of Managing Director & CEO,. Md. Abdul Hannan,Company Secretary, representative of Auditor Arun & Company and Scrutinizing Institute Suraiya Parveen & Associates, officials of Union Capital Limited and a good number of shareholders were also participated in the said AGM.

The shareholders present in the meeting expressed their opinion that they have full confidence and support in the steps taken by the current Board of Directors and the Management in transitioning the company from its current status.

Respected shareholders also assured to extend their full cooperation as and when applicable so that the company can conduct its business activities in future with the same reputation as before.

The Chairman on behalf of the company expressed his deep gratitude to the shareholders, customers, regulators, and all the well-wishers.
