Orientation prog held at SUB

The orientation programme for the new students of Fall Semester 2026 in the Civil Engineering Department of Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) was recently held in the hall room.

The chief guest was Vice Chancellor (Acting) Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman. Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Engineer Professor Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque and Registrar AFM Modacher Ali were present as special guests.

The new students of RCE 36 batch were welcomed at the program and informed about the academic environment and facilities of the university.

The chief guest Vice Chancellor (Acting) Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman, special guest Engineer Professor Dr. Md. MozammelHaque and Registrar AFM Modacher Ali gave inspirational and advisory speeches to the new students.

They said that there is no alternative to education and perseverance and hard work are required for success.

The orientation programme concluded with a cultural performance and an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to express their expectations and ask questions on various topics.

In the final part of the program, Chief Engineer of the Civil Engineering Department, Saima Akhter, gave a speech to the students and declared the programme closed by giving a guiding speech on their future path.
