‘The Odyssey’ is global hit, with revenue in BD exceeding crores

Hollywood’s renowned director Christopher Nolan’s new film ‘The Odyssey’ has been doing great business at the box office worldwide since its release.

In the first weekend or the first three days of its release, this epic fantasy film has earned more than 264 million US dollars worldwide; which is about 3 thousand 168 crore taka in Bangladeshi currency.

This is the biggest global opening of Nolan’s career after ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ released in 2012. The movie has also received a great response in multiplexes in Bangladesh.

It is being claimed from the page of film revenue analyst ‘BMR’ that total gross income of the movie from
multiplexes in Bangladesh has crossed Tk 1 crore 2 lakh in just three days of its release.
