Rupali Bank holds 40th annual general meeting

State-owned Rupali Bank PLC held its 40th Annual General Meeting in a hybrid format at its head office in Dilkusha, Dhaka, on Sunday.

The bank presented its audited financial statements for 2025 at the meeting, while shareholders unanimously approved all proposals placed on the agenda.

Md Nazrul Huda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rupali Bank, chaired the meeting.

Kamrul Haque Maruf, Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended as the government’s representative.

Rupali Bank Managing Director Kazi Md Wahidul Islam delivered the welcome address, while Director AHM Moin Uddin also spoke.

Directors Md Abu Yusuf Miah, ABM Shawkat Iqbal Shaheen and Saiful Islam attended the meeting.

Deputy Managing Directors Tahmina Akhtar, Hasan Tanvir and Md Harunur Rashid also participated.

Mohammad Shahedur Rahman, Company Secretary of Rupali Bank, conducted the meeting.

A significant number of shareholders joined the programme in person and virtually.
