Islami Bank holds customer gathering in Muktagacha

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC’s Muktagacha SME/Agriculture Branch organized a customer gathering on Wednesday.

The welcome address was delivered by Mohammad Shamim Siddiqui, Executive Vice President (EVP) and Manager (Operations) of the branch.

Five customer representatives spoke at the event on behalf of the bank’s clients.
Among them was Professor Md. Shamsul Haque of Gabtali Degree College, who is also the proprietor of Furad-Farid Poultry and Fish Feed.

Principal Md. Shamim of M.N. International School and College also addressed the gathering.
Special guests included Mohammad Matiur Rahman, Principal of Abbasia Kamil Madrasa, and Muha.

Shamsul Huda Chowdhury, Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP) and Branch Head of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Mymensingh Branch.

The chief guest was Md. Anisur Rahman, Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of the Mymensingh Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.

The speakers said that Islami Bank is not merely a financial institution but a symbol of trust, confidence, and successful Shariah-based banking in Bangladesh.

Throughout its long journey, the bank has made significant contributions to the country’s agriculture, industry, small and medium enterprises, and remittance-based economy.

They noted that although the bank had faced several challenges in recent years, it is now regaining its strength under the current management.

Positive changes are becoming evident in restoring customer confidence, improving service quality, mobilizing deposits, and expanding investment activities.

The speakers emphasized that the greatest strength of any bank is its customers. They expressed their commitment to standing beside Islami Bank by maintaining deposits, conducting banking transactions, and extending wholehearted cooperation to further strengthen the institution.

They also expressed confidence that Islami Bank would continue to uphold transparency, accountability, and Shariah-compliant banking principles while playing a greater role in the country’s economic development. At the same time, they said, the bank would ensure modern, efficient, and high-quality services for its customers.
