South actress Rashmika Mandanna, who has always loved to reinvent herself on screen, has taken the challenge a step further.
The actress has shot a long and complex action sequence underwater without the help of a body double for the much-awaited pan-Indian film ‘Maisaa’.
The makers claim that this is India’s first large-scale female-centric underwater action sequence, which could create new history in Indian cinema.
After the shooting, Rashmika wrote, “I know, I was hidden from everyone’s eyes for a while.
Because this is what we were doing. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life.
We may be a little crazy, but this madness has made me so excited. I hope the audience will see the results of that hard work on screen.”
