Fuad Almuqtadir, who once came into the spotlight with his song ‘Char Chakka Hoi Hoi’ for cricket fans, has now come up with a new song titled ‘Kandari Chol’ for football fans.

Popular singers Pantha Kanai and Mila Islam have joined hands for the first time in this song, which is based on the knockout phase of the FIFA World Cup.

Along with them, Bammi, Sanjana, Nigerian artiste Olly Boy and rapper Black Jang have also participated in the song.

The musical arrangement uses Brazilian ballad funk influences, deepening the song’s connection with the global culture of football.

The lyrics of the song are written by Tiger Chowdhury, Mahbub Morshed (Shihab), Olly Boy and Black Jang.

The music video is directed by Miraj Hossain. Regarding the song, Pantha Kanai said, “Football is not just a game, it is a place of emotion for millions of people.

When the World Cup comes, a festive atmosphere spreads everywhere from cities to villages in the country.

They have tried to convey that excitement and love through songs.” On the other hand, Mila said, “I am happy to be associated with such a vibrant song on the occasion of the World Cup.”

According to her, Fuad’s music arrangement always brings innovation. The participation of artists from different genres has made the song more diverse.

She also expressed hope that the song will add extra excitement to the listeners while watching the game or chatting with friends.

In Bangladesh, football means neighbourhood fields, rooftop chats, tea shop arguments, alleyways decorated with the flags of your favourite team, and the excitement of friends.

The colourful image of that familiar World Cup emotion is portrayed in the song ‘Kandari Chol’ produced by ‘Fuad and Friends’.
