Sadia Ayman impressed by Nabila’s ‘Bonolota’

Based on the famous poem ‘Bonolota Sen’ by the beautiful Bengali poet Jibanananda Das, director Masud Hasan Ujjwal has woven a story for the big screen. Since its release in theatres, there have been many discussions about the movie.

Now, popular small screen actress Sadia Ayman has expressed her fascination and love for the movie.

In a press conference, she praised the movie and highly evaluated the long sacrifices behind it and the acting of the cast.

Expressing her feelings after watching the movie, Sadia Ayman said, “It’s so great! After finishing the movie, I looked at Ujjwal Bhai and asked, “Brother, I have a question for you about this movie, ‘how long did it take you to research so many poems by Even Jibanananda Das?’ He said eight years. Eight years of hard work! I mean, I was able to watch a movie like this only after hard work. I actually feel like this is my achievement.”

Talking about his connection with the story and characters of the movie, he also said, “I really liked it. I have been on a journey with every character.

Nabila Apu is so graceful, you are Mashallah! When I asked her, ‘Tell me a little bit about yourself, what are you doing?’ she said, ‘You will go and see, you will see in the hall. No, I am not that good at acting.’”

“It’s a sign of a good artiste that she doesn’t like her own performance. When she feels that she can do better or a good artiste can find mistakes in her performance, so is Nabila Apu. I said, that means you did well. You did very well. The way Nabila carried herself with each character is wonderful.”

Expressing her excitement about the casting of the main character and other actors in the film, Sadia Ayman said, “Khairul Basar perfectly suited the role of Jibanananda Das.

It felt like I was watching him. And I will talk about Sohel Mondal separately. When he came on screen, I felt like I was watching an international performer. It was very good.”

Praising the costumes, makeup and casting direction, the actress said, “Everything from the costumes to the makeup, everyone has adapted so beautifully to each character! It felt like they found the perfect casting, meaning they found the perfect casting for this movie.”
