Midland Bank launches women-centric savings schemes
Midland Bank PLC has formally launched new savings products specifically designed for women, aiming to foster disciplined saving habits and enhance financial security.
The schemes offer affordable monthly instalments and convenient digital banking services.
The new products – Nari Surokkha DPS, Digital Nari Surokkha DPS, Saalam Mudaraba Nari Surokkha DPS and Saalam Mudaraba Digital Nari Surokkha DPS – were officially launched during the 180th meeting of the Board of Directors of Midland Bank PLC, held this week at the bank’s Head Office Board Room in Dhaka.
Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the bank, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presided over the meeting.
Imtiaz U Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO; Md Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and CRO; and Md Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director and CTO, were also present.
The newly introduced savings schemes are tailored to empower women by encouraging regular savings through accessible monthly deposits.
The digital versions offer the added convenience of opening and managing accounts remotely, ensuring a seamless banking experience.
