Standard Islami Bank stands beside patients with critical diseases

Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Standard Islami Bank PLC provides financial assistance to six patients for the treatment of critical diseases. Acting Managing Director of the bank Md. Siddiqur Rahman handed over the donation cheques to the relatives or nominated representatives of the patients at the bank's head office on Monday.

Financial assistance was provided to Md. Yasin of Barguna, Md. Abu Taleb Dhali of Jashore & Md. Azgar Ali of Tangail, who are suffering from cancer; Md. Abdullah Shoaib Nur of Gaibandha & Arif Aftab of Habiganj, who are suffering from kidney disease and Md. Zakaria Hossain of Kishoreganj for spinal cord surgery.

Senior executives of the bank were also present in the event. Since its establishment, Standard Islami Bank has been actively contributing to humanitarian causes as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
