Sony-Smart launches nationwide ‘Golden Goal Offer’campaign to celebrate FIFA WC

In a bid to heighten the excitement of football enthusiasts ahead of the FIFA World Cup (WC) 2026, Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the official distributor of the world-renowned Japanese electronic brand Sony in Bangladesh, has officially launched a massive, nationwide promotional campaign titled the ‘Golden Goal Offer’.

The six-week campaign officially commenced on June 8, 2026, and is scheduled to continue running through July 26, 2026, offering consumers across the country a highly lucrative opportunity to upgrade their household appliances while winning guaranteed rewards.

Under the terms of this nationwide campaign, any customer who purchases a product valued over 10,000 Taka will instantly receive a scratch card on a first-come, first-served basis, with each card carrying a guaranteed gift.

The grand activation event for the campaign was organized on Monday at the company’s central showroom and corporate headquarters located at Jahir Smart Tower, West Kafrul, Mirpur, in the capital city of Dhaka.

The campaign was officially inaugurated by Joshua Quek, the Head of the Sony International (Pvt.) Ltd. Bangladesh Branch.

The celebratory launching ceremony took place in the presence of various corporate representatives, electronics media personnel, and official Sony-Smart channel partners.

Key officials representing SONY Corporation and Smart Technologies (BD) Limited were also in attendance to mark the milestone, including RMDC Sony South East Asia Product Manager of TV Product Marketing Ms. Kemnuj Maschavalit Ming, Smart Technologies (BD) Limited General Manager and Head of Sales Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, Deputy General Manager and Head of Marketing Azad Rahman, alongside RMDC Sony South East Asia Master Trainer KC and Sony International Bangladesh Branch Product Specialist Delwar Hossain.

The extensive line of guaranteed scratch card rewards features official jerseys of popular FIFA World Cup teams, footballs, premium Sony headphones, power banks, air coolers and various special products.

Furthermore, as an instant bonus, anyone purchasing a Sony BRAVIA television of 50 inches or larger will immediately walk away with an attractive, limited-edition Sony BRAVIA jersey, subject to warehouse and showroom stock availability.

For premium consumers, Sony-Smart has introduced an even bigger surprise through an exclusive weekly lottery system. Customers who invest in a premium Sony television measuring 65 inches or larger will be eligible for a special lucky draw held every single week.
