Dutch-Bangla Bank signs deal with BB on cluster financing scheme

Dutch-Bangla Bank has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the central bank’s BDT 3,000 Crore Cluster Financing Scheme.

Under the scheme, eligible entrepreneurs will be able to avail financing at a concessional interest rate of 7pc per annum, which will support business expansion, enhance productivity, and create new employment opportunities.

In the presence of the Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar and Executive Director Husne Ara Shikha, the signing ceremony took place at the Bangladesh Bank Headquarters recently.

Md. Ahteshamul Haque Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank and Nawshad Mustafa, the Director (SMESPD) from Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Anwar FaruqTalukder, SEVP & CAMLCO, along with other high officials from both the organizations attended the program.
