Jubo Dal announces central committee

Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal on Thursday announced its full-fledged 151-member central executive committee, completing the formation of its top organisational body with Abdul Monayem Munna serving as president and Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan as general secretary.

The announcement was made through a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

While a partial committee had been declared earlier, the party released the complete list of office-bearers and members of the executive committee on Thursday.

Under the new committee structure, Rezaul Kabir Pol has been appointed senior vice-president, while Billal Hossain Tarek has been named the No. 1 joint general secretary.

Md Kamruzzaman Jewel has been assigned the post of organising secretary and Al Mehdi Talukder has been made publicity secretary.

The committee comprises 29 vice-presidents, 28 joint general secretaries and 23 assistant general secretaries.

For office management responsibilities, Vice-President Nurul Islam Sohel and Joint General Secretary Minhajul Islam Bhuiyan have been entrusted with duties related to the central office.

Among other important appointments, Rokonuzzaman Rokon has been made treasurer, Ashraf Jalal Khan Monon literature and publication secretary, Aminur Rahman Amin information and research secretary, and Khairuzzaman Lincoln international affairs secretary with the status of vice-president.

The committee also includes AR Mamun Khan and Mujahidul Islam Murad as international affairs secretaries with the status of joint general secretary.

In addition, the newly announced executive body features five law affairs secretaries and two health affairs secretaries.

The publication of the complete committee finalises the organisational structure of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal’s central executive committee following the earlier announcement of its partial leadership panel.
