Child marriage awareness meeting organised in Madhukhali

Madhukhali Upazila Administration of Faridpur organised an awareness meeting and cultural programme of the Faridpur Deputy Administrator with stakeholders to prevent drugs and child marriage at the Madhukhali 500-seat multipurpose hall on Tuesday.

The awareness program was presided over by UpazilaNirbahi Officer RawshanaJahan, and Faridpur Deputy Administrator and learned District Magistrate Mazharul Islam spoke as the chief guest. Keeping in mind the theme of building a drug-free Madhukhali, building a healthy and strong life, Deputy Director of the District Narcotics Control Department Shirin Akhter.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (BOM) Pratik Dutta, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sukdev Roy, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad IqbalHasan, Upazila BNP President Shahabuddin Ahmed, General Secretary Abdul AlimManik, UpazilaJamaatAmeerMaulanaAlimuzzaman, BirMuktijoddhaAbul Bashar and others spoke at the event.

Later, cultural programs were held and sanitary napkins were distributed among the students of various educational institutions in the upazila.
