Chittagong’s road link with Bandarban snapped due to incessant rain
Many areas across the country have been inundated in incessant rain. The Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf road link has been cut off due to flash floods.
Meanwhile, Bandarban’s road link with the rest of the country remains snapped for the fourth consecutive day.
Many tourists have got stranded in the district.
However, flood situation in Bandarban Sadar, Lama, Ali Kodom and Thanchi upazilas have improved since the water in Sangu and Matamuhuri Rivers starts receding. Residents of these areas are suffering from scarcity of drinking water. The flood situation has also improved in Kushtia.
