KMP holds Eid preparation meeting

A meeting on Eid preparations and mutual cooperation between the Khulna Region Highway Police and Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) was held at the office of the Superintendent of Police of Highway Police Khulna Region on Saturday.

The Commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police, BPM-Service, attended the meeting as the chief guest.

The event was chaired by the Superintendent of Police of Highway Police Khulna Region, who was recently promoted to the rank of Additional DIG.

Addressing the programme, the police commissioner said that Bangladesh Police is a prestigious and honourable profession that offers not only the opportunity to perform duties but also to earn the love and respect of the people.

He urged police personnel to carry out their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and humanity.

The commissioner highly praised the role of the Highway Police in ensuring road safety and expressed gratitude to officers who continue to perform their duties despite various risks to their lives.

He also stressed the importance of maintaining mutual understanding among police personnel, fostering a positive mindset, and strengthening relations with the public.

The KMP commissioner further assured full cooperation from the metropolitan police in all necessary matters.

Among others present at the meeting was the KMP Deputy Police Commissioner (Headquarters), who was also recently promoted to the rank of Additional DIG, along with officers of different ranks from the Highway Police.
