10 held in Jatrabari anti-crime drive

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Jatrabari Police Station arrested 10 suspected criminals during a special drive in different crime-prone areas under its jurisdiction, officials said on Saturday.

According to a press release issued by Deputy Police Commissioner NM Nasiruddin of the DMP Media and Public Relations Division, the arrestees include listed accused, warrant holders and regular case suspects involved in various offences.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Maruf (21), Md Mizanur Rahman (36), Md Miraj alias Afzal Hossain Miraj, Tanvir (19), Sohel (30), Rakib Molla (26), Md Shahin (42), Lincoln (20), Asif Mahmud and Md Nazmul Hawlader.

Police said all the detainees have already been produced before the court for legal proceedings following their arrest.
